It has been nearly three weeks since the passing of my Father. I would like to extend a large thank you for the outreach shared by Kelly and Kay following my father's loss. I cannot tell you how touched I was to receive the personal message from each of you acknowledging his passing and the kind words that you extended.

SUNRIDGE is a best-in-class facility. At the on-set of looking at facilities for my father, I was very cautious to make certain that his best interest would be kept first and foremost, and that the facility of choice would be well-maintained, well-staffed and with the utmost attention to the care of the residents. I cannot begin to tell you how SUNRIDGE exceeded our family's expectations.

From the hands-on communication of the management and office staff to the ever-giving support and help provided by Kyle in your maintenance team and Kayla and Kristy in your housekeeping staff. Each individual exuding nothing short of a positive "how may I help" attitude. I can only hope that future families looking to place care for their aging parents are aware of the professional and kind-hearted team members of SUNRIDGE.

To understand the emotional, physical, mental fatigue and stress that is associated with placing your loved ones in a facility is a genuine gift. It is my sincere belief that SUNRIDGE has selected staff that demonstrate a nurturing, sincere quality and my hope is that the ownership within this privately held establishment is fully aware of the exemplary people behind the facilities success.

Sun Ridge is an excellent place to live. The rooms have good storage, the staff is friendly, the owners often sit with us in the dining room & eat the same meals we do. (The food is first-class). There is a nice library and TV/Puzzle room, as well as lots of little niches along the halls to sit and visit. It's a Victorian style house on the inside. It's lovely! The craft we are finishing up this week is a child's stuffed horse from the 1940's. The horse stands on its own and its legs are positioned as you want. There is also Bingo, Skip-Bo, Wheel-of-Fortune, Crosswords, and many other games. Besides Crafts, we have trips up town twice a week, Joy Rides once a week, musical guests many times monthly, dinners out, movies out, and activities as they come up. COME. Look it over. You'll​ be impressed, and, most welcome.

Friends who recently moved into Sunridge are really enjoying their lifestyle there. They are in a cottage which is really nice, spacious, and well-maintained. They commented that they have not cooked a meal once since they moved in, even though they have a fully equipped kitchen should they want to. I guess the food really agrees with them.

Sun Ridge is such a blessing to have in our community. Before my folks moved back to Pendleton, I toured all the available facilities in the region. I interviewed clients from each facility, and NO facility could compare to the warmth, value, friendly atmosphere, great food, helpful accommodations and genuine compassion from the owners and staff. I hope Sun Ridge is still going strong when I am at this point in my life.
